2019 Summer Marching Band Schedule!! July 23 - Marching Band Rehearsal 6pm-8pm in the GHS Band Room- Voluntary July 25 - Taste of Galesburg Set-up - We need a group of 25-30 volunteers to help set up around 9 or 10am for the Taste of Galesburg. The band gets a $250 donation for helping out. It will take around 2 hours max! July 25 - Marching Band Rehearsal 6pm-8pm in the GHS Band Room- Voluntary July 29-August 2 - Marching Band Pre-Camp 9am-12pm Required unless arrangements have been made with Mr. Empey. We will use this time to focus on proper music and marching fundamentals and learn our music. August 5-9 - Marching Band Band Camp (REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE!) We will learn the majority of our competitive field show during this week. If you have a conflict, please contact Mr. Empey. Unexcused absenses will likely put a student on the alternate list.
